African Institute of Research and Development Studies-AIRADS College ,Kisumu campus is located at Tom Mboya estate,off Kakamega-Kisumu Highway.The institution has stood the test of times and bridge the gap in the city.We boast of tremendous performance and recognition in the academic environment. This is an institution of Higher Learning accredited by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and Ministry of Health Pharmacy and Poisons Board. We offer Higher Diplomas, Diplomas and Certificate Courses examined by KNEC.We also offer Short Professional Courses, Packages-Advanced packages, Accounting packages and Programming languages.

It is fact that education is a dynamic process in which new-fangled thoughts are supplemented tirelessly to construct the education in progressive approach. It is also realism that any the nation is as strong as its education system.  A developed country has strong and depth rooted education system where as the developing and poor country most often has comparatively week and superficial education system.  Our country currently is putting a lot of emphasis on technical skills training and Kisumu Campus endeavors to be on the forefront  in offering training that uphold our motto; “NURTURING QUALITY”.

RELOCATION AND NEW COURSES

Last year September, we began an ambitious program of relocating our college to a more serene and spacious compound in Tom Mboya Estate away from the cacophony of city center to accord our students a good learning environment. We are happy to report that this far the relocation has been done 100% with student now having all their classes in our new premises. Beginning this year, we have introduced new courses like Diploma/Certificate in Catering & Accommodation, Diploma/Certificate in Food and beverages and Certificate in Secretarial studies, to meet the market demands.

ACADEMIC TRIPS.

Our trip to Mombasa in December 2018 was a success. I wish to convey my sincere appreciation to our students for their support and for being discipline and orderly during the entire trip. As we plan for the trip to Kigali-Rwanda, students are encouraged make early payments so as to reserve themselves seats to avoid last rush.

TEACHING STAFF

A tutor is a part and parcel component of education system on which all entities depend upon. A tutor does not only make planning of education system but also execute, monitor and evaluate the achievement. Tutors education in institution plays a very indispensable role in developing personality of students. Tutors are considered as nation builders .Construction of nation is largely depends upon its constructors, so it is a great responsibility of trainers in Institutions like ours to impart quality education. Keeping in view AIRADS College-KISUMU has maintained its status as an accredited Institution by complying with both the County and National government agencies requirements.
