Primary Education (P1)



course description
his course trains students to become primary school teachers. These teachers are usually refered to as P1 teachers. The course granduands are best suit to teach primary schools institutions either public or private. Its also a brigde to do higher courses like Diploma in Education , Degree in Education and eventually Masters and Doctorate in Education

The course curriculum includes comprehensive training in languages, basic mathematics, children development, Human and child rights, psychology and administration geared towards the primary school curricullum delivery.

Entry requirement: KCSE C(plain)
Duration: 6 terms(2 years)

Exam body: KNEC

Modules: 3 modules
